Individual 
Therapy

Feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or past experiences? Individual therapy provides a safe, confidential space to explore your challenges, develop coping mechanisms, rediscover your inner strength, and self-identity. We'll work together to create a personalized path towards emotional well-being and a more fulfilling life.

Couples
Therapy

Is communication breaking down in your relationship? Couples therapy can help you and your partner navigate conflict, rebuild trust, and strengthen your connection. We'll guide you in developing healthy communication skills and finding solutions that work for both of you.

Family
Therapy

Is your family facing challenges like communication breakdowns or emotional struggles? Generational Challenges? Family therapy provides a safe space for everyone to be heard and understood. We'll work together to create a more supportive and nurturing environment, fostering stronger family bonds, and healthier dynamics. 

Is therapy right for me?

Whether therapy is right for you depends on your unique situation. Choosing to start therapy and embracing your mental health needs is a major step towards self-care. If you're struggling with daily tasks, negative emotions, or relationship difficulties, therapy can be a powerful tool for growth while understanding the root causes of you’re feelings. We offer a free 10 minute consultation to discuss your concerns, ask questions about your mental health needs, and explore if our services can help you reach your goals. There's no pressure, just a chance to see if therapy feels like a good fit for you.

Healing Identities Counseling Services understand taking the first step towards counseling can feel daunting. You're not alone. Be kind to yourself and be kind to your mind. We are here to support your mental health journey and empower you.

Initial Contact

  • During the call, the therapist discusses the client's concerns, goals, and expectations for therapy in a safe and confidential space

Scheduling Your First Session

Ongoing

  • After the client-therapist match is confirmed, Healing Identities Counseling Services will send a intake packet via email or Simple Practice with essential information:

  • Intake forms for insurance and background information

  • Information about consent, confidentiality, and cancellation policy

  • Scheduling instructions for the first session (online portal, phone call, in-person

  • We'll work together to monitor your progress, refine your goals, and adjust your therapy treatment plan, as needed

Kanaka K. Henry, LCSW

Kanaka K. Henry is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals achieve lasting well-being. She offers individual therapy in Arkansas, both in-person and via telehealth. Kanaka tailors her approach using various methods to address a range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and relationship issues.
